Recent Symposiasts will be aware that we have been considering for some time the merits of founding an educational charity to administer the Symposium. Since December 2003 we are now registered as a charitable trust. This will enable us to receive financial donations and endowments from Symposiasts past and present, and members of the general public who support the aims of the Trust. The Trust has been formed in order to place the institution on a more secure financial footing and allow us to develop our educational objectives.

Donations to the Trust are most welcome and will be acknowledged. If you would like to contribute, cheques should be made payable to The Oxford Symposium on Food and Cookery and mailed to the Administrator, Patsy Iddison, 3 Upper Grotto Road, Twickenham, London TW1 4NG, UK.
